Brooklyn’s McCarren Park is one of the go-to locations for open-air movie screenings, and this year will be no exception. They just released their summer schedule and you’re going to love it.
There is nothing quite as special as outdoor movie season. Whether it’s date night, or just flying solo, watching one of your favorite films in the open air with an amazing view of the city is always something to look forward to.Yesterday Summerscreen, Brooklyn’s free film and concert series, announced their schedule for screenings in McCarren Park. There’s something on the list for everyone, as well as an audience choice screening for their last session in august.
The movie nights take place every Wednesday evening, starting on July 5, in the McCarren Park Ballfields.
Movies battling for a screening on August 6 are Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion, Twister, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Now and Then, She’s All That,Twister, and Beetlejuice.
