A Massive Morgenstern’s Ice Cream Shop is Coming to Greenwich Village
One of NYC’s best ice cream shops, Morgenstern’s, is expanding into a Greenwich Village location that is going to be huge.

The new ice cream parlor will take the place of what was formerly Silver Spurs on LaGuardia Place. Owner Nick Morgenstern told Grub Street:

“This is something I’ve been planning for a very long time, and you know we looked for the right location for about two years. This is going to be the flagship for the brand.”

The 3,230 square-foot space will likely serve boozy concoctions, based on a plan that was submitted to Community Board 2 for a liquor license. The ground floor will host retail while the lower level will feature a production space. No opening date has been set yet, but we’re excited to see what they do with this massive space!
