Love them or hate them, we seemingly can’t escape the chaos of Labubus–and now the viral, elf-like collectibles are getting a massive new home right in the heart of Manhattan.
According to a report from the New York Post, Pop Mart–the global toy brand behind the wildly popular Labubu dolls–has signed a lease for a sprawling 7,000-square-foot retail store at 680 Fifth Avenue, located at East 54th Street. The new shop will sit steps away from Swarovski, marking yet another major tenant along one of NYC’s most iconic shopping corridors.
The Fifth Avenue location is expected to become a go-to destination for collectors and curious passersby alike, especially as Labubu continues to dominate social feeds and toy shelves worldwide.

Known for their mischievous grins and slightly eerie charm, the characters have built a cult-like following, thanks in part to Pop Mart’s signature blind box model that keeps fans coming back for more.
Beyond just a retail store, the massive footprint suggests an immersive shopping experience could be on the way, potentially featuring exclusive drops, larger-than-life displays, and interactive elements similar to Pop Mart’s other global flagships.
The opening will also breathe new life into a stretch of Fifth Avenue’s East 50s that has struggled with lingering vacancies in recent years.

The arrival of a buzzy, youth-driven brand like Pop Mart signals a shift in the avenue’s retail landscape–one that’s increasingly leaning into experiential shopping and viral appeal over traditional luxury alone.
And this isn’t the company’s only big NYC move: Pop Mart previously signed a separate 7,000-square-foot, 10-year lease for a flagship store in Times Square, which is slated to open in late 2026.
Between the two massive locations, it’s clear the brand is doubling down on New York City as a key hub for its growing U.S. fanbase.
So whether you’re a die-hard collector or still wondering what exactly a Labubu is, one thing’s certain–these tiny mischievous dolls aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
