We hope you’re hungry, NYC! One of Manhattan’s biggest new dining destinations is almost ready to open its doors.
This fall, the West Side is getting a massive new food hall that will bring together beloved local restaurants, exciting newcomers, rooftop drinks, and all-day dining under one roof.
Just steps from Penn Station, Moynihan Train Hall, Madison Square Garden, and Hudson Yards, the highly anticipated Market Hall at Manhattan West is shaping up to become citygoers go-to for everything from quick lunches and post-work cocktails to weekend food crawls.
Spanning an impressive 34,000 square feet, the two-level destination will feature 12 casual dining concepts, an independent full-service restaurant, an indoor bar, a rooftop terrace bar, plus retail and everyday services—all designed to create a vibrant gathering place in one of New York City’s fastest-growing neighborhoods.
Here’s who’s opening inside
Brookfield has now revealed the first wave of culinary partners that will call The Market Hall home, featuring a mix of neighborhood favorites, acclaimed local operators, and exciting newcomers.
Among the first restaurants announced are:
- BKLYN Larder — Opening its first-ever Manhattan location with its beloved sandwiches, pastries, specialty groceries, cheeses, and gifts.
- Springbone — Known for nourishing bone broths, grain bowls, and health-forward comfort food.
- Shifka — The popular Middle Eastern-inspired pita spot from the team behind Sami & Susu will open its second location.
- Alfalfa — Bringing California-inspired salads, wraps, smoothies, and coffee to the West Side.
- Matter — The precision nutrition restaurant serving customizable meals tailored to individual wellness goals.
- Super Burrito — Serving authentic San Francisco Mission-style burritos while also overseeing the Market Hall’s bar program.
- Sushi Counter — Offering fresh Australian-style hand rolls in a fast-casual setting.
Even more vendors will be announced ahead of the official opening.
Rooftop drinks, local favorites, and more coming this fall
Beyond the restaurants, The Market Hall will also feature a full-service indoor bar, a rooftop terrace bar, retail offerings, and community gathering spaces designed to make the venue more than just another food court.
Brookfield says the project builds on the success of Hudson Eats at Brookfield Place, one of the city’s most popular multi-vendor dining destinations, with the goal of creating a similar all-day food and social hub on Manhattan’s West Side.
The Market Hall at Manhattan West is expected to open this fall at 398 10th Avenue, with grand opening celebrations, tastings, and special promotions planned once the doors officially open.
