As the warm weather creeps in we find ourselves on the hunt for the perfect beer garden. Well, it seems to have arrived, and it’s in Chinatown.
The Bowery Beer Garden launched its huge covered area at 93 Bowery today (May 1). The Chinatown bar comes equipped with 80 TV screens and 40 kinds of beer on tap with fans and heat lamps to make sure you’re always at that perfect beer drinking temperature.
The bar boasts three separate rooms accommodating hundreds of people; the Beer Garden itself has room for up to 400, their lounge comfortably fits 200 and the bar easily has space for 50.
With all those TV’s The Bowery Beer Garden will quickly become the go-to destination for sports fans looking to get their fix, whether it be football, soccer or baseball.
It’s not all about sports and beer though, there’s a brunch menu guaranteed to put an end to that pesky hangover and an oyster happy hour for those who want some less traditional fare.
For those that are into a more late night parts, the beer garden sits on the exclusive underground nightclub, Mr. Wu’s Basement.
Thanks to those heat lamps, the bar will be sticking around past the summer months, so whether you’re looking for a little shade from the oppressive heat, trying to watch the game, or looking to get your drink on, Chinatown may just be the perfect destination.
