Mad Radio NYC, the newest outpost of the Medellín-born cultural platform, has opened its doors at 395 Wythe Avenue, introducing an intimate, 85-person venue that blends underground club energy with the creative spirit of a community arts space.
It’s the platform’s fourth global location, joining sister hubs in Colombia, Barcelona, and Miami — but the NYC iteration feels tailor-made for the borough’s late-night pulse.
Inside, Mad Radio unfolds as a bar, club, radio booth, gallery, record store, and creative studio, all stitched together in a space designed for discovery rather than spectacle.
Soft lighting, artist-built elements, and a raw, minimalist aesthetic give the room a warm-but-industrial feel — and the Danley Soundlabs system delivers the kind of chest-thumping audio that true music heads appreciate.
The venue’s programming is already in motion, spotlighting a rotation of local and international DJs across house, electro, indie dance, dark disco, and niche subgenres that thrive in low-lit rooms at 2 am.
Every set feeds directly into Mad Radio’s 24/7 global broadcast, meaning whatever unfolds in Williamsburg streams straight to its worldwide audience.
What sets Mad Radio apart is its built-in ecosystem — it’s nightlife, but it’s also radio culture, art, community, and collaboration.
