Spring‘s bursting colors have officially taken over NYC and one of the best seasonal traditions is back in action again!
The 51st annual Macy’s Flower Show just debuted at the Herald Square flagship today, April 23, and the historic department store has completely transformed into a lush botanical wonderland.
This year’s stunning theme is “Homegrown” and it celebrates the vibrant beauty of America’s landscapes through massive floral art and multisensory experiences.
What to expect at the 2026 Macy’s Flower Show
The famous Herald Square main floor is currently a playful spring garden featuring thousands of blooming plants, flowers and trees.
Macy’s teamed up with landscape artists ManscapersNY alongside fresh bloom providers The Bouqs Co. to bring this massive journey to life.
As you wander through the aisles, you will discover dynamic installations that highlight regional botanicals and timeless craftsmanship from across the country.
It is not just about the flowers this time around either.
Valentino Beauty took over the mezzanine level to build an exclusive exhibit inspired by their Born in Roma fragrance collection.
Shoppers can step inside a reimagined palazzo filled with chromatic storytelling, lush floral arrangements and interactive scent moments. The space is a total dream for beauty lovers looking for fresh photo ops and inspiring design details.
Special events and exclusive merchandise
Because the show runs through May 10, the timing perfectly aligns with Mother’s Day gift shopping.
Macy’s is hosting special celebrations throughout the run, including storewide beauty events and spring fashion styling sessions.
On Saturday, May 9, you can even treat mom to Celebration Saturdays. This special afternoon features styled brunch fashion moments, beauty master classes, free giveaways and engraving services while supplies last.
Fans of the event can also shop a limited edition curated collection to take the magic home.
The exclusive merch lineup includes everything from printed tote bags and watercolor paint sets to specialty Frango chocolates and a custom candle from Apotheke.
