Time to meet your innie at the real-life Lumon Office less than 1 hour from NYC by car!
Fans of Apple TV’s Severance can explore the filming location of the iconic Lumon Office in Holmdel, New Jersey at what’s really known as the Bell Works building.
Bell Works, formerly named Bell Labs, was previously home to the Bell Telephone Company’s research lab. Bell Labs was the same place responsible for inventing the first continuous laser beam and the transistor.
The modern, urban hub is now a mix-used development for offices, restaurants and stores. Characterized by its simplistic design and dystopian and sterile appearance, the building’s exterior and lobby are used to portray Lumon Industries in the show. Bell Works is open to the public seven days a week.

According to what the New Jersey Economic Development Authority told NJ Advance Media, season 2 of Severance racked up a $24M filming bill in New Jersey. There are still four more remaining episodes to air of season 2, before concluding on March 21, 2025.

Additional filming locations within the series, such as Pip’s Bar & Grille, the Perpetuity Wing (which is really at the Hudson River Museum) and Kier, the town in Severance, which is really inspired by the City of Beacon, are all shot in New York State.
