There’s a certain corner in the Lower East Side that’s newly painted and pretty eye-catching. Have any of you passed by it yet?
Virgil Abloh, the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s mens collection, brought a little something new to the LES this Friday. As you’ve probably guessed from the picture at the top of the article, its an LV pop-up store located on 100 Rivington St and not only is it entirely neon green inside and out, but a few things on the corner have been painted to match the aesthetic as well. These include, a bike, fire hydrant, trashcan/a bunch of trash-bags (true NYC style) and an awkwardly placed couch with “Louis Siton” spray painted on it, a piece of art by visual artist, Adrian Wilson.
The pop-up includes flag prints, monogrammed accessories, leather goods and a few pieces of clothes from the fall/winter collection. Open everyday from noon to 9pm, until July 21st.
