Following the news of their split, all eyes are on Lily Allen and David Harbour’s home in Brooklyn.
There are some messy details making the rounds in the tabloids, and some pretty telling allegations on the singer’s new album, West End Girl. However, it seems the former couple’s brownstone is getting all of the attention.
The 19th century Carroll Gardens beauty is a five-floor stunner that Allen crafted with bold intentions and traditional motifs. Much like the singer herself, it’s vibrant, out-of-the-ordinary — and now on the market.
Inside Lily Allen & David Harbour’s home
Listed on Zillow for nearly $8 million, the five-bedroom, four-bathroom is a floral, verdant sight to behold, and something that once sent the two into viral status two years ago.
After a 2023 tour with Architectural Digest, no one could stop talking about the home’s designs, colors, and whimsy. Have a look for yourself below.
Allen worked alongside AD designer Billy Cotton, who tried to actually pump the breaks on some of the songstress’ ideas.
“Lily is the one who really set the tone and drove the program. Every time I tried to make it calmer, she kept pushing and pushing for more,” Cotton told the outlet.
That was simply not the vibe she’d been going for.
“Billy would say, ‘You know this is a little crazy,’ or he’d bring up resale value. But this is our home, and we want to live in it in a way that works for us,” Allen added.
Allen’s ex told AD: “Lily is someone who lives with color in a deeper way than most. Her taste is bold, silly, fun, eccentric—it’s exciting.”
Unfortunately, the lively home endured a bitter ending, but hopefully, the next owners will breathe new life into it … or keep the eccentric space as is!
