Brooklyn grocery options are getting a new budget-friendly addition this month!
German discount supermarket chain Lidl is opening a brand new location in Crown Heights, bringing its cult-favorite bakery items, European imports, and low-price grocery staples to a new NYC neighborhood.
The new store will officially open on Wednesday, March 18, at 1730 Bedford Avenue, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:40 am before doors open to shoppers at 8 am.
If you’re curious what the hype is about, opening day will include exclusive deals and a first look at the store’s signature products—including one of Lidl’s most talked-about bakery items: its famous 49-cent butter croissants, baked fresh daily.

What shoppers can expect at the new Brooklyn Lidl
