2024 is a Leap Year!
What is a Leap Year? A Leap Year is a year with an additional day in February, making the month 29 days instead of 28. Every 4 years, an extra day is added to the calendar as the addition of February 29 helps our calendars catch up with Earth’s rotation around the sun.
Due to its occurrence every 4 years, having a Leap Year birthday is super rare. Since they don’t get a birthday every year like the rest of us, it’s only right that Leaplings are treated to goodies on February 29th!
Some local businesses have taken Leap Year celebrations into their own hands with specials for those born on this special day! If you were born on a *regular* day, keep scrolling to see what deals you can indulge in too!
