With the 2026 FIFA World Cup in full swing, fans are gearing up for Brazil’s group stage match in New Jersey. But the celebration isn’t just happening on the pitch.
Lasai, the two-Michelin-starred restaurant from Rio de Janeiro, is coming to Manhattan. Ranked No. 28 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list, they are teaming up with Greenwich Village’s FREVO for a highly exclusive pop-up.
A championship-level tasting menu
This is the ultimate way to celebrate the Brazilian team this June.
For two nights only, Chef Rafa Costa e Silva is bringing his intimate, counter-style dining experience to New York. He is taking over FREVO’s hidden kitchen alongside Chef Franco Sampogna. The two Brazilian-born chefs are teaming up to present a gastronomic experience that deeply reflects their shared heritage.

“To return now in June, during the World Cup season in the U.S., for a collaboration with Franco feels very special to me,” says Chef Rafa Costa e Silva.
Guests will be treated to a unified 13-course tasting menu. The dishes will feature fresh produce that defines Lasai, like heart of palm, manioc, chayote, guava, and fresh seafood. Chef Sampogna will bring FREVO’s signature sauce-centered approach to elevate every single bite.
