New Year’s Eve in NYC is officially getting louder, longer, and way more star-studded. Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2026 just dropped its biggest lineup ever—biggest, longest, and most stacked lineup in the show’s more-than-50-year history. Think: pop queens, hip-hop legends, country favorites, K-pop stars, and nostalgic icons all packed into one very long, very loud night.
Here’s everything you need to know about the most-watched celebration of the year.

Ryan Seacrest returns to helm the festivities from Times Square alongside co-host Rita Ora. For the first time ever, the show features a live Central Time Zone countdown from Chicago, led by GRAMMY-winning Chance the Rapper.

Why This Year is Historic
Last year alone, more than 29 million viewers tuned in at midnight as Carrie Underwood closed out the night in Times Square, and this year the production is scaling up.
Whether you’re braving the crowds in Times Square or ringing in 2026 from your couch with champagne in hand (warm, cozy, and way less crowded), this year’s celebration is shaping up to be one you won’t want to miss. And don’t forget to admire the NYE ball while you’re at it–it’s the largest one ever!
