If you’re questioning outdoor dining during the cold winter months, this will surely change your mind!
Chef Andrew Carmellini’s restaurant Lafayette in NoHo has completely transformed their outdoor dining space into the most charming “Le Village de Lafayette,” filled with 12 adorable private dining “chalets.”
Each lovely chalet seats two to seven people, and is decked out with cozy handwoven carpets, hanging icicles and snowflakes…plus special fireplace heaters to keep you nice & toasty during the chilly weather!
Munch on specialties from Lafayette’s market-driven bistro menu, plus wintery specials like fondue, hot cider, seasonal cocktails and more. Three-course dinners include the likes of prime beef tartare, rotisserie chicken provençale, and mousse au chocolat.
But what we have our eye on is the delicious brunch options! Choose from Croque Madame, salmon gravlax Benedict, and more, with fresh fruit and an assortment of Viennoiserie pastries. And don’t forget the fondue…you’ll have two choices, one with freshly grated black winter truffle! Check out the full menus here.
And each cabin is covered in the most enchanting garland and twinkling lights.
Reservations can be made on their website for dinner Wednesdays through Sundays and brunch Fridays through Sundays.
Lafayette is located at 380 Lafayette St.
