Lady Gaga is getting ready to drop her eighth studio album Mayhem this Friday, and NYC is already declaring that “Mother is so back.”
Like all industry-shattering album releases, our city knows how to celebrate with listening parties, album raves, and even…surprise Times Square concerts?! (Yes, we’re looking at you Charli XCX)
We’ve put together a list of Lady Gaga listening parties celebrating the new project, spanning from Brooklyn warehouses to Hell’s Kitchen gay bars. It’s time to boogie.
Joanne Trattoria
Experience Mayhem at this speakeasy diner theater as they host a very special experience featuring Las Vegas Lady Gaga, Tierney Allen on Saturday night. Joanne Trattoria’s Gaga event will feature three special hour-long sets throughout the evening, including jazz classics from her Vegas residency, some of her iconic pop hits and a few from her latest album Mayhem.
Of course it’s all paired with a delicious meal and exclusive drink specials too! Tickets are $55.
They’ll also be hosting an SNL Viewing party after Tierney’s show, where you can watch Gaga star on TV and enjoy album-themed cocktails. Tickets for that are $15!

Balcon Salon
Manhattan’s newest gay bar Balcon is hosting a Mayhem party on Friday night, with a special appearance from RuPaul Drag Race star Brita Filter! Come dance to the new album and enjoy a night of drag at one of Hell’s Kitchen’s hottest new spots.
Be sure to bookmark the iconic event The Gaga Ball as well on March 29th, which features NYC’s #1 Lady Gaga impersonator, Nick Gaga performing her greatest hits (including the new album).

The Rosemont & Brooklyn Monarch
Local NYC event-thrower Luis Fernando’s World is hosting a pair of Mayhem events this weekend, kicking off with a traditional album release party on Friday at The Rosemont. Expect the new album and plenty more hits!
Plus, a Saturday night rave in a warehouse at Brooklyn Monarch is in the works, complete with a “special guest,” Mayhem merchandise, an immersive Lady Gaga exhibit, and much more.

C’mon Everybody
C’mon Everybody is hosting a listening party on Thursday in Brooklyn, with a countdown right up until midnight!
The Gaga extravaganza starts with performances from Ru Paul’s Drag race stars at 10:30 pm before listening to the album the minute it drops starting at midnight! Tickets start at $18.

Good Judy
Hit the dance floor at Good Judy’s on Friday night where Sean McMahill spins Lady Gaga and friends all night to celebrate Mayhem. Tickets cost $12.

This Bushwick outpost is hosting a pair of Gaga events this weekend including a Mayhem Monsters Gaga Rave this Saturday, with plenty of great music and drag stars! 3 Dollar Bill is even giving out $200 to the best Mayhem-inspired look!
Plus, on Friday (album release date), they’ll be hosting a true album release party by playing out the album and other great hits!
