Since 1926, the Blue Shirts have hit the ice and raked in iconic, record-breaking moments along the way. It’s only fitting to celebrate such a milestone, no?
For its centennial, NYC’s hockey team has partnered with Kith for a collection of red and blue clad jackets, jerseys, and gear. Trust us, you wouldn’t want to show up to the Garden without a piece of the collab. (If it’s good enough for Henrik Lundqvist, it’s certainly good enough for us.)
Inside the Kith, New York Rangers collab
If you need new team gear for an upcoming game — or perhaps you want to show off your New York State of mind in Florida at this year’s Winter Classic — you should certainly consider perusing the Kith site.
With a little help from the team’s most beloved goalkeeper, Lundqvist, the NYC-based apparel brand has decided to show off what’s up for grabs. (Extra conveniently timed alongside the holidays, might we add.) So, what can fanatics expect from this launch? Leather jackets in partnership with AVIREX, equipment designed with Bauer, collectibles in partnership with Inglasco, and headwear designed with New Era.
Whether it’s a classic, old-school ivory sweater with “Rangers” adorned on the chest, a short-sleeved hockey jersey, or a navy hoodie, the collab will appeal to hockey fans of all tastes and styles. (Take it from Hank.) Items range from $18 (socks) to $1,350 (leather jackets).
How to get a piece of the collab
The collection went live on the Kith site on December 15th, but it’s not the only way to get a piece of history for yourself. Those who head to MSG for home games throughout the month of December can visit the pop-up store to grab a tee, sweater, jacket, or gear.
To access the pop-up — which opens at 5pm at home games on a first-come, first-serve basis, is best accessed through Chase Square (located in Madison Square Garden at 7th Avenue and 32nd Street), per MSG. Keep in mind, all Kith sales are final.
What are you eyeing? Will you pick up a tee or two at the next home game? (And perhaps fans can forget what keeps happening at home with some new merch, huh?)
