History is officially in the making, New York. If you thought the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final at MetLife Stadium couldn’t get any bigger, think again.
FIFA and Global Citizen just dropped a massive bombshell: global pop icon Justin Bieber has officially been added as a co-headliner for the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show on Sunday, July 19, 2026!
Bieber joins an already legendary, star-studded lineup featuring Madonna, Shakira, and BTS for an 11-minute musical spectacle curated by none other than Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
It’s already on track to become the most-watched halftime show in broadcasting history.
A Massive Win For New York Local Talent
While the global superstars are drawing the headlines, there’s an incredible local twist that has NYC incredibly proud: Staten Island’s very own PS22 Chorus—the world-famous choir made up of talented 4th and 5th graders from a public elementary school right here in the city—will be performing live on the world stage alongside Coldplay!
The performance lineup truly spans the globe:
- Co-Headliners: Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira, and BTS
- Special Performers: Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus featuring Coldplay
- Special Appearances: Sesame Street Muppets, plus Kermit and Miss Piggy!
The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can. I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it’s already helping expand access to education for children around the world. — Justin Bieber

Music With A Global Mission
This groundbreaking show isn’t just about the music and soccer; it’s being produced by Global Citizen to raise $100 million for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
The initiative provides quality education and sports access to children in underserved communities globally.
The fund has already raised over $50 million, and a massive chunk of that is coming straight from the fans—$1 from every single ticket sold for the FIFA World Cup 2026 is going directly to the cause.
