Jolene Brooklyn is the newest addition to the recently opened Moxy Hotel in Williamsburg, and will showcase the best of disco, house, and techno.
The 150-person sound room inspired by the fierceness and femininity of Dolly Parton represents the first formal collaboration between Moxy Hotels, hospitality pioneers Bar Lab Hospitality (the team behind hotspots like Broken Shaker and 27 Restaurant) and Link Miami Rebels | Space Invaders (Miami-based nightlife trio who own Miami’s legendary Club Space).
An entrance on Bedford Ave. immediately transports visitors to a space reminiscent of 1970s and 1980s nightclubs.
A painted ceiling with fluorescent lights and modular furniture provide intimate seating and can transition from loungey to clubby depending on the performer and the mood.
State-of-the-art speakers lining the ceilings and walls as well as marquee-style lights that sync to the music make for the ideal spot to bask in the sounds of DJs–including top talent from Brooklyn’s thriving nightlife scene, such as Eli Escobar, Analog Soul, Justin Strauss, as well as the global dance music circuit.
What’s created is a funky, one-of-a-kind, high-energy sound room that will immerse visitors in a multisensory experience.
“This is the place to dance, drink, relax and just completely be yourself to the sound of the best music around,” says Elad Zvi or Bar Lab Hospitality. “We look forward to introducing the Brooklyn community to Jolene, as together we’ve created something truly spectacular.”
“We are thrilled for this adventure,” says Coloma of Link Miami Rebels | Space Invaders. “We have always appreciated the love affair between Miami and New York. The opening of Jolene gives us an intimate room with impeccable sound to foster and nourish the ever growing nightlife of Brooklyn.”
Jolene Brooklyn marks the first opening of the Jolene concept, with Jolene Miami slated for spring 2023 (we’re sure our friends over in Miami are happy about this!)
