The 6th Annual Hot Jazz Festival is happening this weekend. Two stages will feature twelve hours of continuous live music from fifteen hot jazz and swing bands. Music lovers, don’t miss out!
On Sunday, September 30, Gallow Green at The McKittrick Hotel will be hosting the annual Hot Jazz Festival. The event kicks off with a “Hot Jazz Brunch” and will also feature a NOLA-style Second Line parade, live performance artists, an Antique Gramophone DJ, and a raucous “Midnight Speakeasy Party” – with the fest’s trademark all-star jam session and classic burlesque acts – to cap the event.
The event celebrates traditional jazz with the rising stars of today and legendary performers alike. As every year, the festival will showcase the best talent of the hot jazz and swing revival in New York. The music will span the entire scope of early jazz – from its New Orleans beginnings through the Jazz Age and Swing Era.
