The Jazz Age Lawn Party is a limited event over its last weekend on Governors Island. It will only take place. August 9–10. And this year, this unique festival celebrates two decades of the interactive experience to relive and reinvent the Prohibition era parties of the 1920s!
Jay Gatsby, eat your heart out! This experience features a massive dance floor where you can get dance lessons to flex your 1920s moves, enjoy a selection of gourmet food trucks, participate in wine tastings and even a vintage motor car exhibition. Play Pétanque (the French form of Bocce Ball), croquet or shop for vintage clothing at unique vendors and artisans.

Get ready to cut a rug! Featuring amazing musical performances by Michael Arenella & His Dreamland Orchestra, Queen Esther and other special guests. Of course, you’ll get to indulge in refreshing retro cocktails while you take it all in!
Attending time travelers will also enjoy New York’s fanciest picnicking fare and gourmet food trucks along with sweet treats, ice cream and old-time snacks. Wear your favorite retro dresses and snap some cool shots at the Paper Moon photo booths on site.
