The time has come! Upper East Side residents no longer have to travel crosstown to get their hands on the massive, gooey cookies from Levain Bakery.
Earlier this year it was made known that the popular bakery would be opening two new outposts this summer, one in downtown Manhattan and the other on the UES. As of today (Monday, July 22), the UES location at 1484 Third Avenue is officially open for business! This new space will not only serve up the freshly baked, warm and delicious cookies that the bakery is most known for, but they’ll be celebrating opening day with their limited-edition ice cream sandwiches.
As part of the grand opening, Levain Bakery will host fun latte art at 1 p.m. followed by ice cream sandwiches at 3 p.m., made with their signature gooey cookies of course, while supplies last. The ice cream used inside will be a classic vanilla bean from Ample Hills.
The new shop will be open daily from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Where: 1484 Third Avenue (on the corner of 83rd Street and 3rd Avenue)
