Interior design/decor has always been a hot topic because everyone loves decorating their current home or fantasising about their future one, right?
Lately, with all the recent shows dedicated to minimal/extraordinary architecture and decluttering ala Marie Kondo, it seems to have become more trendy than usual. If you’re one of those people who love decor inspo, the list below of some NYC instagramers is the aesthetically pleasing content you’re looking for.
Marie von Behren
Originally from Hamburg, Marie von Behren is a fashion and lifestyle influencer who’s got a following over 600k on Instagram. Her recent interest in interior design is displayed through frequent posts of her own dreamy apartment and a few other shots of gorgeous interiors she finds around NYC.
Christie Tyler
Her instagram is @nycbambi and her feed is quite similar to @mvb’s as she posts a mix of fashion, interiors and scenic shots of NYC (mainly SoHo) all fitting in the same neutral color scheme. Her jewellery collection and presentation is one of our personal favourites…
She’s also recently opened her own studio that can be rented out for creative content/shoots. Have a peek below…
The Apartment by The Line
Interior design brand; The Line, has attracted many visitors over the past couple of years with its heavenly apartment display. You’ll find a living room, bedroom and bathroom set up that’s perfect for some inspiration and a few cheeky pictures… it’s quite the genius marketing idea actually!
Vanessa Hong
Youtuber, lifestyle influencer and interior design lover, @thehautepursuit feed features design inspo that will make you yearn for a spacious extravagant house. Most of the pictures included below are re-posts of interiors that she personally likes, rather than from her own place.
Katie Bauer
One of the smaller instagramers on this list, @imokaygirl is a photographer/writer who also loves an aesthetic feed. Her apartment is definitely more realistic for the average person living in NYC and the pictures below show that you don’t need a lot to make the place. Sometimes the stripped down/minimal look works just as well, it’s all about finding the right pieces!
Bianca Valle
Bianca does a lot of things according to her insta bio, she’s a writer, painter, runner, advocate and self proclaimed wellness guru. She occasionally posts pictures of her apartment, or you might catch glimpses of it in the background of some of her instagram pictures. The main reason we added her on this list was because she was featured on an architectural digest article wherein she gave some tips on how to make an all ikea decorated apartment look less “ikea”. In the article you’ll find a few pics of super cute corners in her apartment that you would never guess were furnished with ikea pieces.
