Levain Bakery has four New York locations, but none in downtown—yet.
This morning, a report by Bowery Boogie announced that there are rumors swirling around that the famous bakery has set their sights on Bleecker Street. Known for their massive gooey-centered cookies, Levain Bakery will likely be making it’s way into 59 Bleecker Street once the building’s renovations are complete.
Shortly after the rumors were made public, Eater released an update solidifying that these “rumors” were in fact accurate. Sources told the publication that Levain Bakery plans to open their fifth outpost (and first in Downtown Manhattan) this summer with a menu that will mirror their other locations. Along with the delicious baked goods and cookies, an exciting addition to this outpost will be the availability of counter seating!
