Calling all New York vinophiles, get ready to try some of Oregon’s best wines next week!
Experience the Oregonian state of mind through the Oregon Wine Trail event coming to New York City, which will take you through the state’s wine country in a matter of hours. The event taking place on Monday (May 6) will bring together 60 wineries, representing the varied geographic and climate diversity of the state of Oregon.
What better way to start your week than with a night dedicated to wine? Part of the experience will include pioneering Oregon artisans like Olympia Provisions, Jacobsen Salt Co., Stumptown Coffee Roasters, the Oregon Cheese Guild and more to create a well-rounded event with plenty of wine, food, and personality. It won’t be a white table cloth kind of night, but you can certainly expect a generous pour of Oregon’s fine wine and pioneering spirit. Not to mention all the tasty Oregonian hors d’oeuvres. There will be Oregon coastal dungeness crab salad (GF); wild rice and Oregon blueberry salad on sweet potato crisp (vegan); stuffed endive with goat cheese, roasted beets, and Oregon hazelnuts (veg, GF); and mushroom truffle risotto puffs (veg).
From legacy Pinot noir to unexpected whites and surprises in between, grab a glass and find your Oregon wine trail. The event will take place from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. next Monday, so don’t wait to grab your tickets to the one-night event!
