Can’t get enough of the “stinky rose”? While some loathe the pungent scent garlic leaves behind, more than 50,000 people attend a festival dedicated solely to the botanic vegetable each year.
Luckily for the NYC garlic enthusiasts, the annual garlic festival takes place just two hours from the city and marks the largest garlic festival in the Northeast.
The Hudson Valley Garlic Festival has been bringing the flavor to New York since 1989, welcoming garlic lovers from all over to gather for the special event. For the 2025 season, the festival will return for its 36th anniversary in all of its garlicky glory.
