We’re fast approaching spooky season’s summit. If you’ve still not sorted out your plans to nod to All Hallow’s Eve, there’s still time to make a date with the devil and boogie at a large-scale event this month.
Over at Industry City, there are two different Halloween raves coming up, with House Of Yes joining forces with the space for City of Gods and the Vampire Ball. With each event taking place across multiple rooms, you aren’t finding larger spooky parties across NYC than this, with ‘blood raves’, ‘dungeons of deviance’ and stacked musical bills all to be found this month as you don some terrifying attire.

Taking place across this weekend and Halloween Weekend in NYC, here’s what you need to know about both events at Industry City.
City of Gods Festival
This one is for those who are hoping to get the Halloween celebrations started a little earlier. City of Gods is back for its eighth year, letting New Yorkers into its playground of spooky hedonism.
Running on October 23 and October 24, City of Gods ushers partygoers to weave through multiple different rooms, jumping from its Lost Paradise stage to the Kostume Kult, taking over Industry City with a sea of demonic costumes.
Its musical lineup is kept under wraps until the event begins, further adding to the theme of exploration across the night, with attendees unveiling secret small corners of what makes up the full event as they go along.

As you might gather from the imagery, City of Gods isn’t known for keeping it low-key. Floats of dragons weave through the crowd, with stages hosted by many behind the sound camps at the Burning Man festival. Proceeds from each ticket are also donated to each camp organization involved with City of Gods, meaning your NYC partying on Halloween can play a small part in the makeup of the legendary Nevada festival come 2027.
All that comes with a light show that dazzles the courtyard, with the artists Alex & Allyson Grey behind the aesthetic vision of the festival. You can head to their ‘Chapel Of Sacred Mirrors’ before finding the Cabaret Speakeasy, venturing into the Dungeons of Deviance, the Elixirs of Bliss, and the Healing Gardens. All bets are off for the evening as the ghosts come out of hiding.
City of Gods takes place on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24. Find out more and plan your visit here.
Vampire Ball

Taking place on Halloween weekend, with events on both Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, Vampire Ball is NYC’s biggest spooky party. With an eye-watering 10 stages set up across Industry City, this brings a ‘Blood Rave’ to Brooklyn as well as dungeons, interactive art, burlesque cabaret, a cursed potion bar, and more surprises ready to rise from the graves on the night.
If you’re heading to the NYC Village Halloween Parade, Vampire Ball is the official warm-up and afterparty, so there’s scope to have a stacked weekend of spooky activity. Going straight from the parade into the party is what the true dancing ghouls of Halloween will have on their skeletal roster.

With 10 rooms, there’s also scope for a truly eclectic lineup of music, with huge sets planned for both nights, ranging from techno to reggaeton to UK Garage to hyperpop to house to rock & roll.
On the Friday, you catch the likes of Mallrat, Eli Escobar, Alice Longyu Gao, Andhim, deBasement, Wreckno and many more.
Then, on Halloween itself, the attendees of Vampire Ball will have a dance to COBRAH playing a GAGBALL set, spitroasty3k (aka Rhian Teasdale of Wet Leg), IN PARALLEL, Flowdan, DJ Boring, Todd Edwards, MODA, and more.
The bill is stacked across the 10 rooms with seven stages of music, and will be complete with all the truly inspired costumes that the crowd bring alongside to match the energy of the night.
Oh, and if you need to be steered a certain direction when deciding what to wear, Vampire Ball have listed out a few terms that might get you inspired. These include ‘Vamp Chic’, ‘Fangs and Leather’, ‘Gothic Girlies’, ‘Blood-spattered everything’, ‘Dracula Drag’, ‘Yaaaasssferatu’, and ‘Fetish and Fangs’, among others. Happy undead raving!
The Vampire Ball takes place on Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31. You can find out more and book your spot at either edition of the Vampire Ball here.
