No need to hop on a plane (or a shooting star) to Shibuya just yet—our very own dream girl is taking over Forest Hills this fall.
Following her sold-out inaugural solo tour, Hayley Williams is trading the bachelorette parties for something bigger: The Hayley Williams Show—a full-scale, era-spanning spectacle. The best part? It headed our way, landing at Forest Hills Stadium on September 16th.
The one-night-only New York stop was teased on Forest Hills Stadium’s Instagram yesterday with a sign reading, “Are you gonna stay the night?” This follows similar teases at the Hollywood Bowl (“Can we pretend that airplanes…”) and Espaço Unimed in São Paulo, Brazil (“You can call me Miss Paramour”). It’s safe to assume that this era of shows will span eras of Williams’ own showstopping career.
Tickets go on sale May 6 at 10 a.m. local time, with an artist pre-sale kicking off May 4.
For the devoted (and the chronically online), HW HQ verified pre-sale registration opens April 29 at 10 a.m. ET, because if the last tour selling out in seconds taught us anything, it’s that hesitation is a luxury you won’t have.
For the past several months, Williams has been on the road with Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, a glittering, gut-punch of a record she’s performed front-to-back each night. But this next chapter signals a shift. From the teases, it seems like fans can expect deep cuts and reinventions.
Of course, Williams doesn’t arrive here quietly. A three-time GRAMMY winner and the unmistakable voice behind Paramore, she’s spent nearly two decades shaping the emotional vocabulary of alternative rock. From the raw urgency of All We Know Is Falling—released when she was just 16—to the genre-defying elasticity of This Is Why, her career has defined so much of its genre.
For everyone willing to wait in the queue until the ice melts in their OJ, we’ll see you in there.
