Whether you’re 35 or 15, it’s likely that you grew up reading and watching Harry Potter. From the off, it was an international success and we personally cannot get enough of it. When The Deathly Hallows Part 2 came to an end and the credits began to roll I remember wondering how on Earth I was going to fill that Harry Potter-shaped hole in my life.
The Fantastic Beasts films have kept Harry Potter fans going all these years and we’re expecting Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore next year, which is incredibly exciting. However, even more exciting is the prospect of a Harry Potter reunion, featuring the original cast. That’s right, Hermione, Harry, and Ron are all back together again, albeit somewhat older (and with different hair).
Harry Potter: Return To Hogwarts will be broadcast on HBO worldwide (or wherever HBO is available) on January 1, and what a way to start the New Year! However, until then we’ll have to make do with the photo released by HBO of the cast and the trailer released recently.
Fred and George Weasley (James and Oliver Phelps) sit on the right, with their actual hair colour. Then there’s a pretty happy-looking Tom Felton who played Draco Malfoy and the lovely Evanna Lynch who plays Luna Lovegood. Obviously, the big 3 are at the forefront, and to their left are Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley).
If that weren’t enough to excite you, Helena Bonham Carter, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, and Gary Oldman are also set to make an appearance in the reunion and we know where we’ll be all of New Year’s Day – recovering from a hangover and waiting for Harry Potter: Return To Hogwarts to begin!
