The Sweet Spot Festival is set to get Harlem shaking once again this year! With world renowned DJ’s and musicians, art installations, and activities for all ages. This year you are going to want to mark it down in your calendar.
Now in its 6th year, the Sweet Spot Festival is a roving free summer event series with an ongoing mission to bring together diverse Harlem communities with multi-sensory outdoor experiences. The festival takes place between May and September, with a comprehensive set of events and themed dance parties featuring a rotation of world-famous musicians and DJ’s.
They will plant their flag at West Harlem Pier on the 20th where they’ll be officially kicking off the season with their free, family friendly, commencement party. The all-day event will be packed with music, dancing, food, art workshops for kids and free yoga. We’ll also see big manes like Everyday People, Xavier Blk and LteNght. Previous years have seen upwards of 3000 people attend, so expect an unforgettable time.
The kickoff party will take place on May 20 at West 125th Street (at the West Harlem Pier) from 3 to 9 p.m.
