10 Best NYC Neighborhoods For The Most Extravagant Halloween Decor

Happy Halloween, NYC!

With spooky season full and thriving, it’s time to take a look at how the city is showing its spirit…and let the All Hallows’ Eve spirit live on through these photos. Sure, there may be some stragglers who put up a ghost or two at the end of the month, but plenty of us have truly been feeling the ghoulish spirits for quite some time now. Several homes around the city have been ready for Halloween since fall officially began (which was in late September)!

Some stoops look like the owners have been collecting decorations for at least a decade—and we’re loving every inch of it. From mummies to massive spiders, and countless creatures in between, here are some of the top neighborhoods with the best stoops for the most amazing Halloween decorations — according to New Yorkers.

1. Industry City, Brooklyn

They always have the most amazing pumpkin display — this was last year’s, but this year’s is sure to impress just as much!

2. Upper West Side

Nothing like some gorgeous brownstones decked out in cobwebs.

3. West Village

Taking a walk through the West Village is like your very own Halloweentown!

4. Astoria, Queens

We loves this house on Ditmars Ave, and we know of another at 22-13 26th Street that goes all-out every year!

5. Chelsea

This townhouse at 314 W 22nd street is redesigned by Hatch Studio every year to give peaceful Halloween-y vibes.

6. Upper East Side

Since this neighborhood is so residential, there’s ample opportunity to add all the fall decor you can fit!

7. Cobble Hill, Brooklyn

8. Midtown Manhattan

We’re loving Rockefeller Center’s new pumpkin display!

Plus this diner has its very own pumpkin patch that you can actually pick pumpkins at in the middle of the city!

9. South Street Seaport

South Street Seaport’s amazingly over-the-top pumpkin arch is back! At 10 feet tall, it’s the perfect place to get a fall photo (and it especially magical at night when it’s all lit up)!

10. Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn

This quaint family neighborhood is full of all the most wholesome Halloween decor.
