Summertime is synonymous with barbecuing, so it’s only fitting that the summer would come to an end with a delicious BBQ festival.
The Blues BBQ Festival took place this year at Hudson River Park’s Pier 97 and was free to all attendees. Those who made it had a chance to enjoy the “pairing [of] America’s best Blues and Roots musicians with New York City’s Favor BBQ restaurants.”
Among these favorites were:

However, as delicious as everything sounds, the festival would not be what it is today without the amazing talent performing. This year artists included The Campbell Brothers, Dumpstaphunk, Sugar Ray and the Bluetones, Terrie Odabi, and Eric Gales.
