If you don’t want to head up to Hudson Valley for the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze, you can now get the same experience right on Long Island!
That’s right: New York’s biggest fall spectacle has a brand new location, in Old Bethpage Village.
Like the original, it’s a self-guided, touch-free experience on a marked trail, and this time it’s throughout the grounds of a historic 19th-century village. Along with the thousands of carved pumpkins lit up to create the most magical Halloween experience, there will also be special installations that honor the new location like a Long Island lighthouse and a lunar module!
The Long Island event will start a bit later, and will be on display from October 2 through November 1.
Admission is by timed ticket sold in advance only; there are no tickets available on-site. Capacity has also been reduced and all workers and visitors are required to wear face coverings.
Free parking is available starting 30 minutes before your reservation time, at 1303 Round Swamp Rd in Old Bethpage, NY.
