Fall in New York isn’t complete without a trip to Hudson Valley’s most anticipated autumn tradition. The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze is officially back at Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson, running on select nights from September 18 through November 8, 2026.
This year’s installment is bigger than ever, featuring the longest illuminated pumpkin trail in event history, brand-new attraction zones, expanded $24 value-night tickets, and enhanced VIP hospitality stops along the path.
Because dates sell out every single year, you’ll want to grab your advance tickets now before prime October spots vanish.
What’s New at Blaze 2026

Over 7,000 hand-carved, glowing jack-o’-lanterns will illuminate the historic landscape, transforming into massive sculptures of sea serpents, carousels, and the iconic Pumpkin Planetarium. This year introduces several brand-new features along the path:
- Creature Feature Forest: Paying homage to Van Cortlandt Manor’s mid-20th-century history as a drive-in theater, this new section lets you snap selfies with classic movie monsters carved entirely out of pumpkins.
- Literary Lane: Walk through glowing storybook scenes where classic children’s fables and folklore are brought to light.
- Manor House Dance Party: Join an interactive lawn dance party right in front of the site’s historic, regal manor house.
- Creature’s Cantina: A brand-new trailside popup spot serving quick drinks as you stroll the expanded path.
VIP Hospitality & Trailside Drinks

Looking to upgrade your night out? Blaze 2026 brings back its sold-out VIP experiences with all-new food and beverage menus:
- The Gourd & Goblet Tavern (Ages 18+): A sit-down VIP experience inside an 18th-century inn nestled directly on the pumpkin trail. Enjoy table service, festive snacks, cocktails, and mocktails. (Requires a separate ticket; sold out every night last year!)
- Headless Horseman’s Hideaway (All Ages): A spirited, family-friendly trailside stop featuring festive snacks, drinks, and exclusive photo-ops with the Headless Horseman himself.
Getting there from NYC

Planning a trip from the city couldn’t be easier. Van Cortlandt Manor is located less than an hour away from Manhattan via Metro-North.
Simply hop on the Hudson Line at Grand Central Terminal and ride it straight to the Croton-on-Hudson station, which is just a short walk or quick rideshare from the manor grounds.
