New York Fashion Week is nearly upon us, and one of the jewels of the week’s festivities will be the grand opening of “Grand Bazaar NYC”.
Sunday, September 11th 10am – 5:30pm, will see the Upper West Side grand opening of what will be NYC’s largest market. The 40,000 sq. ft. indoor and outdoor market will host over 100 curated vendors each week, expect to find one of a kind antiques, art, artisanal jewelry and an eclectic assortment of tasty treats.
Grand Bazaar NYC was created to give back to the local Upper West Side community. 100% of the net profits benefit over 4,000 public school children by providing them with much need school supplies, books, art enrichment and sports programs.
A big part of the Bazaar’s mission is to help build a strong community of talented artists, designers, and artisans by providing them with a much needed retail space to call home. This will help the City to say creative an authentic.
Each Sunday, new purveyors and popup shops are brought in to create a unique experience for visitors every time they stop by.
Special themed events will take place over the fall season. On September 25th, Grand Bazaar NYC will host a special Artisan Jewelry Bazaar with the city’s most talented designers. From experienced to emerging jewelry makers, all producing one-of-a-kind and limited edition pieces. For Halloween, October 23rd, will be their spooky Artisanal Sweet Treats Bazaar, and in December the big Grand Holiday Bazaar.
Grand Bazaar NYC is located at 100 W. 77th Street at Columbus Avenue. Don’t miss the grand opening, it’s your chance to support a project that is giving back to the local community in a big way!
