A new affordable housing lottery has made its way to Brooklyn, offering a wide variety of affordable units for individuals and families in search of a new home in one of NYC’s most vibrant boroughs.
Glenmore Manor Apartments is a newly built, 150-unit residential building located at 76 Christopher Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Offering a mix of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, it’s designed to accommodate households of all sizes—from solo residents to families of seven.
🏠 New homes on the way
Glenmore Manor is part of New York City’s commitment to inclusive neighborhoods, providing residents with access to affordable housing regardless of their current or desired location in the city.
The building was developed through the Extremely Low & Low-Income Affordability (ELLA) Program and the Mandatory Inclusionary Housing (MIH) Program, ensuring high-quality, energy-efficient housing for low- to moderate-income residents.
In addition to housing, the development will include 20,000 square feet of community and commercial space, home to the Brooklyn Cooperative Federal Credit Union, a local restaurant and salon, and space for programs supporting small businesses and young entrepreneurs.
