Who likes their chicken with a side of homophobia? If so, you’re in luck! Because Chick-fil-A is rumoured to be opening a third NYC location after its second site is launched this Saturday.
The conservative Christian chain – which was famously boycotted by gay-rights activists after public comments made by CEO Dan Cathy and the discovery that it had been financing anti-LGBT organisations such as the Family Research Council – is said to be eyeing the ground floor of the One Madison building on 23rd Street, according to the New York Post.
Chick-fil-A – who, to be fair, has since reeled in its gay bashing a little – refused to confirm or deny the rumor of its third NYC location.
The new restaurant on West 46th Street and Sixth Avenue opens this Saturday (April 2). Or you could go to the apparently more gay-friendly KFC, where the “pocket squares of a gentleman can be used as a banana hammock.” Ha!
