Get your fellowship together and explore the Metropolitan Museum of Art through the lens of your favorite fantasy stories.
“Crown and Prophet: An Epic Fantasy Adventure” is an interactive tour of the MET created by the tour group Fable and Lark that’s inspired by fantasy series like Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings. The experience takes you through the museum while highlighting famous works of art that will likely remind you of places you’ve seen in these popular stories, with highly interactive elements. Your adventure through the museum will include finding these art pieces as part of a series of challenges you’ll have to solve while racing against the clock to complete. As Fable and Lark put it, there will be “group activities, intrigue, rivalry, quests…and plenty of surprises.”
With GoT premiering this Sunday, what better way to get into the spirit than with this unique adventure at the MET. Sessions usually take place every Tuesday and Friday, but extra days have been added from this Thursday (April 11th) to Sunday (14th) due to popular demand. Tickets are selling fast, so grab yours ASAP. For more info and to snag your tickets ahead of time click here.
