This one’s for the gourmet cheese lovers! Heritage French cheese brand Fromager d’Affinois is celebrating their 30-year anniversary of importing to the U.S. with a special pop-up coming to NYC from June 25 through July 2. Even better? The first 30 visitors to L’Ami Pierre, a casual French eatery in Midtown, helmed by restaurateur and former owner of the iconic Ladurée, Pierre-Antoine Raberin will score a free baked treat featuring the brand’s decadent cheese.

The Fromager d’Affinois brand was founded by French cheesemaker Jean-Claude Guilloteau in 1981, and has remained popular for decades thanks to its rich, buttery flavor and signature creamy texture. The cheese is made using a unique ultra-filtration process, which gives it the smooth quality fans have loved for years.
Whatâs on the menu during the pop-up?

As for what you can look forward to trying during the pop-up, there are three treats made with three cheeses by Fromager d’Affinois. Le Fromager is a luxuriously rich French double cream cow’s milk cheese with a delicious buttery flavor where each bite melts in your mouth, so don’t miss the following treats. The Fromager d’Affinois Truffle has specks of real black truffle, so if you love the luxuriousness of truffle flavor, it can’t be missed. And Brebicet is the brand’s sheep’s milk cheese, beloved for its ultra-smooth texture, making it a must-try for cheese lovers.

Fromager dâAffinois Truffle Cheese, Smoked Ham and Pistachio Oil Baguette Sandwich
Letâs just say, we canât stop thinking about this one. Layers of smoky ham and creamy Fromager dâAffinois Truffle cheese are tucked into a crisp French baguette and finished with house-made pistachio oil, creating a rich sandwich packed with savory flavor and satisfying crunch.
The Raspberry & Fromager d’Affinois Croissant
To create this croissant, the L’Ami Pierre team used Fromager d’Affinois cheese and whipped it into a light, velvety cream and piped into a buttery croissant before being finished with fresh raspberries for a sweet-and-savory treat.
Behind the Collab

This collaboration has been months in the making, and the team behind Fromager d’Affinois couldn’t be more excited about the final result. “We’re so excited to unveil this collaboration between Fromager d’Affinois and L’Ami Pierre and introduce our cheeses in these delicious creations,” said Charlotte Auriault, Marketing Manager Americas at Fromagerie Guilloteau. “Pierre Raberin and the team at L’Ami Pierre had so many delicious ideas, and it was hard to choose which three to feature, but this limited-edition menu helps to showcase a variety of ways chefs can use Fromager d’Affinois cheeses and introduce their customers to these cheeses.”
