If you are a horror fan, you need to add this spot to your road trip list.
The Blairstown Diner has been a beloved fixture in Blairstown, New Jersey, since 1949. It is known for its friendly service and classic retro vibe. But its biggest claim to fame is its starring role in the original 1980 slasher film, Friday the 13th.
A slice of horror history

The iconic movie was directed by Sean S. Cunningham. Fans still flock to the diner to celebrate the film. You can even see the famous stool from the first Friday the 13th (1980).
Locals and tourists travel from all over to eat at this historic spot and enjoy the festivities. You can walk around the town to see the exact filming locations.
Afterward, stop by the diner to grab a bite with their “resident Jason.”
