NYC’s legendary Magnolia Bakery turned 25 last week — and they want to celebrate with fellow New Yorkers!
In honor of the bakery’s 25th birthday, they will be giving out 500 free banana puddings each day this weekend (7/16-18), as they had started to do the weekend before.
Their special “banana pudding truck” will be stopping at popular NYC landmarks — be sure to follow their Instagram so you can find out where they’re heading day-of! Here’s a brief overview:
- Friday, July 16: Prospect Park, Brooklyn, Flatbush Avenue, Between Sterling Place and Plaza Street West
- Saturday, July 17: Natural History Museum + The Whitney/High Line (14th Street between Washington Street & 9th Avenue)
- Sunday: July 18: Gentry State Plaza, Queens, Center Blvd between 50th and 51st Avenue
For an extra-special element, the puddings will be served in a limited-edition birthday cup, designed by local artist Emily Carpenter and inspired by the city where it all began, NYC. And, when you pick one up you’ll be able to enter for a chance to win banana pudding for an entire YEAR (you’ll just have to scan the QR code on the top of each banana pudding cup or following the brand on Instagram).
