The Hudson Valley’s sweetest tradition is back! Warwick Applefest—named one of the “Top 100 Events” in the country—returns on Sunday, October 5, 2025 in the Village of Warwick, NY.
What began in 1989 as a simple harvest celebration has grown into New York’s largest one-day festival, drawing more than 30,000 visitors from across the region each fall to experience the extraordinary variety of Warwick’s apples, culture, and entertainment.

How To Get There From NYC
Warwick is about an hour north of New York City, making it a perfect day trip or weekend getaway.
Driving is the easiest option on festival day—visitors are encouraged to arrive early and park at one of the satellite lots, including Warwick Valley Middle School (225 West St.) or Veterans Memorial Park (60 Forester Ave.). Parking is $10, and all proceeds benefit local non-profits.
Free shuttle buses run continuously from these lots into the heart of the festival, making access smooth and simple.
If you’re coming from NYC without a car, NJ Transit’s 196/197 bus runs to Warwick on Saturday; many visitors choose to stay overnight at one of the town’s charming bed & breakfasts, since buses don’t enter the village on Sunday due to traffic.
