NYC’s music scene has everything you could ever hope for year-round, but nothing compares to catching an outdoor show on a warm summer’s day, and Forest Hills never disappoints with their summer lineup.
The historic Forest Hills Stadium outdoor music venue has been welcoming fans for nearly 100 years. The stadium was designed to optimize acoustics, has no obstructed views, and with a capacity of 13,000 is the only outdoor venue of its kind and size in the city.
Originally designed in the 1920’s as the home of the U.S. Open, Forest Hills Stadium began booking concerts in the 1960’s and has hosted some of music’s biggest names including Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, The Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan, along with sell-out performances by Drake, Dolly Parton, Mumford and Sons, and many more.
