Grab your marigolds and adorn your ofrendas because Flatiron Nomad Partnership has once again transformed the district into a colorful celebration for Día de Muertos!
Though the district’s annual Día de Muertos festivities was limited to just one week last year, this year’s iteration has expanded into a whole month of interactive ways to honor the traditional Day of the Dead holiday in NYC. Plus, it’s entirely free to everyone!
Día de los Muertos or Día de Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, is a traditional Mexican holiday dating back to pre-Hispanic origin. According to popular belief, from October 31 – November 2 the deceased souls return home to be with their loved ones, and altars are assembled with offerings, food, and drink to welcome and celebrate their visit. This year, the holiday will be observed Saturday, November 1 to Sunday, November 2, 2025.
