What are you doing on Saturday night? Cancel it! You’re coming to the first Bed-Stuy Music Festival”. Bedford Stuyvesant has a rich musical history, Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, Do the Right Thing and so many more, it’s almost strange that it hasn’t had a music festival of it own up until now.
The line-up amazing, with a-list head liners and up and coming artists, covering almost every music genre: Jazz, Soca, Reggae, Hip Hop, R&B, Rock.
Saturday night, August 6th- 8:30-10PM at Christ Fellowship Church, check out the unforgettable, Grammy-Nominated, Kenny Lattimore in concert. Kenny is the man that brought you “For You”, “You Are My Starship” and “Things That Lovers Do” his rich soulful voice will take you through to 10 pm.
At 10pm one of hip hop’s most legendary DJs will take over the show! The after-party sees Funkmaster Flex spinning Classic R&B, Hip Hop, Soca and Afrobeats and anything else from HOT 97’s champion.
The concert is produced by the community organisation 500 Men Making A Difference. The groups mission is to increase the level of civic engagement that young minority men have in our community. Empowering the men of Brooklyn to build on a legacy of social advancement and communal development. This is a group to support trowing a party that you can’t miss. See you there!
