When you first decide to become vegan you face a lot of struggles in the first week. You quit meat easily but then you have to be careful not to eat dairy products, so no cheese… But then you live in NYC so whether you like it or not you’ll see plenty of pizza. What’s the problem? Well, pizza is good for vegans except for the cheese…
For that reason, on June 13th, Screamer’s Pizzeria opened to the delight of NYC vegans!
We want to make a statement: It IS possible to eat a delicious vegan pizza! Instead of having tons of cheese and meat, you can get the “White” with garlic oil, vegan cheese, broccoli, caramelized onions & huge dollops of homemade almond ricotta.
Or you could try the “The Screamer” with garlic oil, vegan cheese, cremini & oyster mushrooms, parsley, topped with homemade almond Parm.
