A brand new jazz bar is gearing up for a grand opening in Park Slope, and this one is well worth the visit.
The founders of Made in New York Jazz Competition and Festival are bringing NYC the best new venue for live music called Made in New York Jazz Cafe & Bar.The artistic space has been open for a short while, with a soft launch on September 26 that welcomed a sold-out show for their first performer: Philip Harper.
Since then the cafe and bar has already seen plenty of amazing headliners like John Lee, Wayne Escoffery, Yotam Silberstein, Benny Benack III, and Tommy Campbell (to name a few). And that list will only grow once the venue celebrates their grand opening next Friday, October 25, with legendary trio Lenny White, Buster Williams, and Cyrus Chestnut!
Made in New York Jazz Cafe & Bar offers shows every week from Wednesday through Sunday, with two sets each day (at 7pm and 9pm). While you’re there for the fantastic talent and inspiring sounds, you’ll also be able to nosh on food from their extensive menu of appetizers, salads, tapas, and entrees. Dishes include items like wild mushroom risotto balls, organic beet salad, mussels with smoked andouille sausage, and crispy buttermilk fried chicken. As for drinks, you can expect to find a full bar.
Considering the long history the Made in New York Jazz Competition already has with talented musicians around the world, this jazz cafe will quickly jump to the top of everyone’s must-visit list.
