Who Is Gregg T And Why Is He Internet-Famous?

If you live in NYC, you know this man. You love him because he keeps you safe from the imminent danger of wrongly parked cars. Some have called him a snitch, but deep down in our hearts, we know he is New York’s caped crusader. One lucky subway rider got to see the man in all his glory, and uploaded a picture of the one and only, Gregg T.

How did Gregg T come to represent the light? It all started with an ad campaign for the “See something, Say something” campaign. Gregg T told his story about how he saw “disconcerting” cars parked inside a fenced area. His story, coupled with the less-than-flattering picture of him on the subway have made this lawyer into an overnight meme celebrity.

Some say the T stands for towering, terrorist’s-terror, or some speculate that T doesn’t mean anything! Who knows… but what we do know is that New Yorkers love memes about Gregg T.
