The first Espresso Martini Festival was started by premium coffee liqueur brand Mr Black back in Australia in 2016, followed by London, and now it’s coming to the states for the first time this month!
Basically, for the full seven days between May 16-22, New Yorkers can get special $12 Espresso Martinis from NYC’s top cocktail bars and restaurants.
Here are all the NYC bars & restaurants participating:
- Pretty Ricky’s
- Mister Paradise
- Cooper’s Craft & Cocktails (both locations)
- Hole in the Wall (all locations)
- Nomo Kitchen
- Nina’s x Liquid Lab
- Fiddlesticks (M-F 5pm-7pm)
- The Ainsworth East Village
- The Baylander
- Dante (all locations 12 p.m-3 p.m.)
- Orient Express
- The Flower Shop
- Little Ways
- Ferns (T-F 4pm-7pm)
- The Belfry (W-F 5pm-7pm)

The festival is also taking place in other U.S. cities including L.A., San Diego, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, and more.
Only in NYC, however will there be an exclusive masterclass with Mr Black’s special guest Bea Bradsell, cocktail expert and daughter of the legendary bartender and original creator of the Espresso Martini, Dick Bradsel. That’s Espresso Martini royalty right there!
There will also be a special Espresso Martini event at Dante’s new Seaport location, with a free drink upon arrival and $12 full Espresso Martinis all night long.
You can RSVP to participate on the Mr Black website here.
