NYC has been experiencing a rather cool spell for the past few days, but it won’t last for much longer!

According to Storm Team 4 NY, the heat index will climb between 100-105 degrees within the next few days.

The heat is supposed to reach its peak on Thursday with a forecasted temperature of 95° F—almost breaking the 1944 record high of 97° F .

Storm Team 4 NY shared that it will “feel more like the 90s & 100s” across the NY region as the National Weather Service declared a heat advisory through 8 p.m. Wednesday and an excessive heat warning in effect until 8 p.m. Thursday.
